Samantha, also known as “Mantha” to her mom and dad, passed away on December 24, 2024 at the age of 14. She was Nato and Justin’s beloved brown tabby cat.

Samantha was a smart, loving and calm companion who lived an incredible life and absolutely adored living on the California coast. She also loved her routines, and expected dinner no later than 5:00 pm every evening, or she’d let her parents know. She got lots of attention and affection, which she loved — she was particularly fond of belly and back rubs.

Samantha leaves behind her parents, Nato and Justin, who say she was much more than a pet to them. “She was a constant source of companionship and love for over 14 years,” Nato said. “Her unforgettable eyes reminded us that we were loved, and her warm kisses and scratchy licks filled our hearts to the brim with it. I know she lived the best life a cat can live. We will never forget her … never!”
