Moxie

Moxie was Samantha’s beloved mixed-breed dog. She passed away on November 27, 2024 at the age of 8 or 9 years old.

Moxie was a lovable and loyal companion who loved to lounge on the back deck during warmer months and stay cozied up on the couch during colder months. She enjoyed sniffing and greeting the other dogs at the park and then going on her own adventures solo with her mama trailing behind her. She loved to play with her cat brother's feather pole and was always up for doing tricks for treats.

Moxie was her mama's best friend in the world. Although Moxie could be protective of her mom and home, she meant well and had endured known and unknown hardships. Moxie bore both physical and emotional scars from her previous home that she never fully recovered from, but she had so much love to give to those who loved her. She touched the hearts of many, and dogs (especially puppies) were drawn to her calm demeanor.

Moxie leaves behind her mom Samantha, her Aunt Katie, her fur brother Casper, and her fur cousin Coco.

“She will be so so missed and I hope she knows how loved she was and still is, and her mom can't wait to be reunited when the time comes,” Samantha said.
