Fresco

Fresco, the loving cat of Jennifer Allen, went over the Rainbow Bridge on January 3, 2025. Jennifer took in Fresco when a litter of kittens was discovered behind a barn back in 2011 by a friend of hers. She chose Fresco from the litter because as soon as she picked him up, he curled up against her neck, a pose he continued to do every time he wanted to cuddle until the end.

Fresco was predeceased by his human father, Tony, in 2020, and his cat sister, Willa, in 2022. Fresco and Willa used to enjoy sitting between their parents on the sofa, resting on their cat perch together and chasing the butterfly toy their parents got them. 

Fresco got his name because he was so beautiful that his mother thought he should have a name that symbolized artistry. Everyone loved remarking on his beautiful, soft gray fur, and he seemed to know he was the most handsome cat of all time. 

“I could never forget Fresco, and I appreciate the love I’ve received,” Jennifer said. “These past few years have been filled with loss, but they’ve also filled me up with memories for a lifetime.”
