Rocco

Rocco, a mixed-breed dog from Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025, after a short illness. He was 13 years old.

Rocco was the beloved family member of Lisa and Rob, who adopted him from the Caring Hearts shelter when he was about one year old. He joined a bustling family with three young boys, who fought over who got to sleep in the bed with Rocco because he was a famously cozy cuddler. 

In addition to hanging out with his family, Rocco also loved chasing the ball, chewing on bones, running around with his neighbor Lola, and barking at squirrels. He loved all dogs and people, and everyone loved him as well. 

Rocco leaves behind his parents, Lisa and Rob, and his brothers, Aidan, Thomas and Connor. He was predeceased by his dog sister, Sally, who he missed ever since she passed away last year.

“Rocco was the sweetest dog and now he’s our sweet angel,” Lisa said. “We know he’s watching over us from the Rainbow Bridge and that we’ll see him again someday when we cross it too.”
