Anne and Liz Coor are devastated to share the news that their mixed-breed dog Andre died unexpectedly on New Year’s Day. They adopted Andre from the Caring Wags shelter in 2015, when they were told he was either two or three years old. Andre quickly became their constant companion, joining them on long walks, cuddling on the couch, or chasing the ball into his favorite creek.

Andre was preceded in death by his dog brother Tom, who passed away in 2022. He leaves behind Anne, Liz, his human sister Taya, and his cat friend, Digby.

Andre participated in the annual Fourth of July dog parade in downtown Manchester every year, and never minded when his family decorated him in his Independence Day gear. He loved the attention he got when walking along Main Street and even watched videos from the event when his moms played it on the television. 

“I can’t express enough how important Andre was in our lives,” Liz said. “He’ll never be replaced, he was the only Andre on this planet. We’ll think of him every day.”
