Addie was the beloved cat of Tina and Steve Durham. She was adopted from the Cobb County shelter in Georgia 11 years ago and brought immeasurable joy to their lives every day.

Addie’s favorite thing to do was jumping up onto the ledge above the stairs and watching the world go on below her. She also loved getting treats and sleeping in the sun near her mom. She cuddled up between Tina and Steve every night on the couch and seemed to be paying attention to whatever was on television. She particularly liked David Attenborough’s Our Planet series.

Addie leaves behind Tina, Steve, and their son Connor. She was predeceased by her brother Popeye, who was a cat with similar coloring. They often sat by the window side by side watching people walk their pets on leashes, and sometimes snuggled together on cold nights.

Addie’s family would like anyone grieving to consider making a donation to their local animal shelter. Her family felt she was always grateful for ending up at one that took such good care of her and found her a safe and loving home.
