Sansa the mixed-breed dog passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025. She was 14.

Tim and Alaina England adopted Sansa when she was just four months old from a shelter in Brooklyn. They were told she was going to be a medium-sized dog, but when she kept growing, they thought they had another Clifford on their hands! She eventually grew to weigh 108 pounds in her heyday, and was known throughout NYC for her big size and her big smile.

Sansa loved chasing the ball at the dog park, cuddling with her parents on the couch and riding in the car with her head out the window. She also enjoyed begging for food and playing with her favorite toys, especially her white rabbit plush.

Sansa is survived by Tim and Alaina, as well as her human sister Corrie and human brother Connor. She will be missed by all of her friends at the dog park and the pet shop, which she visited every week.
