Rocky the dog passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025. He was 13 years old.

Rocky was a true heart dog — he loved playing with his family and accepting the love back from them. He was smart and loyal, and knew many tricks and commands that he’d practice with his family often.

Rocky leaves behind his mom, Shelby Pope; grandparents, Jason and Vanessa Pope; uncles Donny Redding and Ray Pope; two cat aunts, Whiskey and Spot; four cat uncles, Bandit, Color, Mighty Mouse and Taz; a cat sister, Nova; a cat cousin, Kuma; and a dog cousin named Jacks.

“Rocky was with us 13 years and learned to be a gentleman,” Vanessa said. “He knew how to shake, sit, and lie down. He was a good boy!”
