Gracie

Gracie the short-haired tabby cat passed away on January 21, 2025. She was four years old.

Known as a night owl, Gracie’s playful energy usually show up after dark, and she’d get everyone else excited then as well. She loved sitting by the window, observing the birds and watching the alleycats. Her blanket on the chair by the heater was her throne, but if her blanket was moved, she’d follow it, showing her loyalty to it.

Gracie leaves behind her human family, Erica, Forrest and Teren; as well as her pet friends, Baby, Arcane, Dakota and Speedie.

Gracie’s name was quite fitting, since she was seen as a graceful old soul. She’d caress the air when someone started petting her, almost like she was gracefully dancing with them. She was also incredibly smart, finding the treats no matter where her mom moved them, and discovering a way to access them for herself and her furry friends.

Gracie’s gentle leadership will be missed terribly. “She was a go-getter, very intelligent,” Erica said. “And she had the biggest heart.”
